Here's an innovative project designed to improve operators' working conditions while optimizing production line management.

The main objective of this project was to eliminate laborious cap handling tasks for operators, freeing up time to concentrate on running production lines efficiently. To achieve this, we had to rethink the existing cap distribution conveyor and find a solution that would allow two production lines to be distributed simultaneously.

ACCS Packaging proposed an innovative hybrid solution, combining a two-way mechanical conveyor with a suction conveyor. This unique configuration enabled the two production lines to be fed alternately at an impressive rate of 54,000 bottles per hour. What's more, thanks to an automated system, the distribution flow can be directed to either line as required.

At the end of the mechanical conveyor, we have integrated a suction conveyor with a collection hopper, enablingthe caps to be sucked up and distributed to a buffer hopper 40 meters away. The system is fully automated, with a control panel for precise management of cap distribution according to production needs.

With regard to the layout, we took care to respect circulation constraints in the corridors, by carrying out a detailed dimensional survey and proposing a 3D solution to visualize the final layout.

Installation of this complete solution was completed rapidly, in just over a week, with the intervention of two people. Commissioning took a further four days to ensure that all possible configurations were taken into account.

The aesthetic and functional result of this customized solution was particularly appreciated by our customer, demonstrating our commitment to excellence in the design and implementation of innovative industrial solutions.
